IICRC Means Your Local SERVPRO® is Ready to Answer Your Call
As leaders in the storm and water damage industry, our crews undergo IICRC training to gain certifications to expertly restore your home after damaging storms.
What is IICRC? All SERVPRO® of Columbia County crew members are held to IICRC standards which determines the capability of crews to be able to restore your property to preloss condition through the “WRT” course. WRT stands for “Water Damage Restoration Technician” and is a course that teaches personnel to perform remediation work and knowledge of effects and techniques for drying structures.
Advanced Equipment Gives Insight
Additionally, SERVPRO® of Columbia County crews are equipped with advanced equipment such as moisture meters and thermal imagining cameras. Thermal equipment helps our crews shed light on what is beyond sheetrock and insulation by indicating what is wet and needs further invasive measures to be completely rectified after a water caused by storm damage.
Moisture Detection & Measurement Equipment
Our teams rely on equipment and a large knowledgebase to identify, measure, and monitor your homes moisture levels after a storm. Furthermore, our teams have access to extraction equipment that is typically used when first responding to a storm loss. Often strong, wind-driven rain intrudes into homes during storms and causes water damage to your home. To fix moisture in your home, even after extraction is complete, extended drying is sometimes needed. We accomplish drying your property using our drying equipment such as air moving fans and dehumidifiers that help control the environment and dry the structure quickly.
Although flooding and storms like hurricanes are not common for our Augusta area, knowing that your local SERVPRO® is capable of handling large scale disasters is important.
