Learn About Augusta's Industrial Past with a Canal Trip from the Enterprise Mill this November.
What are national heritage areas?
Heritage sites teach us about the unique history and circumstances that create the communities we live in today. Throughout November, the Enterprise Mill at 1450 Greene Street runs a guided tour along the Canal to describe our commerce's unique industrial heritage. Boats set sail from the former Textile mill at the heart of trading in the American South. Boat trips include admission to the Rotary Club of Augusta Centennial Theatre and the Canal gift shop to buy souvenirs of your trip.
Are there restrictions for tours?
- Ensure that you and your family are safe this November by following the guidelines for Enterprise Mill tours:
- All visitors are required to wear face coverings while on the Canal and in the discovery center.
- Ticket limitations apply to ensure safe, social distancing in all areas of the heritage site.
- Phone-ahead to reserve a spot and reduce the amount of physical exchange needed to tour the Canal.
If you find yourself suffering from water intrusion on your personal property this November, contact SERVPRO of Columbia County at (706) 868-5441.
